Excited to share that we have just completed presenting our vision for the new Campus Center at Georgia Tech. One of 3 invited teams to envision this new 300,000 SF, $100m facility, we presented months worth of work to the leadership of GT. We are deeply thankful for and proud of our design-build team partners DPR Construction, Mackey Mitchell Architects, HILLWORKS, FRONT, Transsolar, Newcomb & Boyd, Uzun+Case, Eberly, and many others. Also so enjoyable to be “up against” (in the friendliest of ways) dear friends and mentors Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects. Alas... and here is the rub... after a full day of presentations and deliberations came to conclusion, we must congratulate CooperCarry/Workshop as the selected team for the job - well done! We look forward to sharing the full vision we developed with the entire Georgia Tech community when the models and boards go on public display, along with a lecture we [bldgs] will be giving this spring at the College of Design.
